Ishan Saksena, Managing Director
Ishan Saksena is a Managing Director at Swordfish Investments. He is responsible for sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities in various sectors and geographies, with an aim to build a diversified portfolio, either through strategic stakes or operational control. As part of Swordfish, in 2010, Ishan was CEO of Queens Park Rangers F.C., and led the turnaround strategy that helped promote the club to the Premier League.
His experience as an investor ranges across private equity and asset management in North America, Europe and Emerging Markets. Prior to Swordfish, Ishan was a Director at Lehman Brothers (Nomura), where he led transactions in the M&A practice. Prior to Lehman, Ishan was an Investment Analyst at Private Capital Management, a value-based hedge fund based in the US.
In the past, Ishan has been invited to speak on Leadership and Organizational Behavior at the Cornell Business School and at the UK-India Business Council in London. Ishan is also actively involved in charitable organizations, and is a trustee on the Board of Global Relief Initiative and QPR in the Community Trust.
Ishan is an alumnus of Cornell University, USA. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
